DESCRIPTION:Everybody needs a buddy! Hannibal Regional Foundation is hosting its annual walk celebrating four-legged friends and helping local cancer survivors and families. The Paws For a Cause walk highlights the important role pets play in the healing and coping process for many patients.\n\nThis year's Paws For a Cause walk will be held Saturday\, September 6th at 9:00 am on the Hannibal Regional Healthy Way Fitness Trail. This year\, we honor the memory of beloved golden retriever Buddy\, who has been a special part of Paws For a Cause for many years and has now crossed the rainbow bridge. We are also excited to welcome Sawyer\, a joyful new dog who will join cancer survivor\, Mary Dunaway as this year's grand marshals.\n\nRegistration can be completed ahead of time by calling the Foundation at (573) 629-3577 or visiting hannibalregional.org/paws4cause. Walkers can also sign up the morning of the event at the Fitness Trail. With their paid registration\, participants will receive a Paws For a Cause t-shirt\, a special gift for their furry friend\, and a professional photograph to remember the day. Photos will begin at 8:00 am near the Start line of the walk.\n\nFunds raised from the walk will support Hannibal Regional Foundation's Legacy of Hope Campaign\, paving the way to assist in the delivery of cancer care regionwide.
