DESCRIPTION:As summer gives way to fall\, many birds begin to move from their spring and summer breeding grounds to their winter homes. This is a good time to watch birds make the seasonal transition. Gale Rublee\, a nationally certified interpreter guide with more than 25 years of experience in outdoor education\, will lead the walk\, along with members of the Mississippi Hills Master Naturalists. The walk will stay on the paved trails but may cover up to two miles. Rublee suggests downloading the Merlin app prior to the event to track birds by sound. Programs are free and open to the public but participation is limited. Register for space at www.hannibalparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program
